The foundations of Citizen was laid down in the year 1918, in Japan. Since then it has been a pioneer in the watchmaking industry while promoting mens watches in innovative technology. Citizen upholds a belief of “Better Starts Now,” that help them in accomplishing their goals, bearing possibility with every new start. Later in the year 1995, the Citizen Eco Drive technology revised itself that took the quartz technology to a new height and this was done by launching the watch powered by natural or artificial lights. The Citizen Eco Drive range of watches has helped the Citizen Watch Company to become the world's largest watch producer from the 1980s until today.

Product Description

This model has a simple and modern design that matches any style, including business scenes. The dial and band are simply arranged in one tone, which is different from the pop colors that have been used so far. Although it is a calm impression overall, it adds a playful feeling like "Eco-Drive Riiiver" by using the dot type sub dial, index and effective color combination. In addition, the use of spherical crystal glass creates a three-dimensional and soft atmosphere. By conscious of the beauty of wristwatches, we aimed to create a design that has the warmth and kindness of an analog, while giving it a new feel.

"Eco-Drive Riiiver" is a watch that can be connected to various devices and services according to one's lifestyle and taste through "Riiiver" which is an IoT platform.

First I just want to comment on the shipping speed. I ordered the watch on a Sunday in the USA and it was delivered the rolling Wednesday! 3 business days? That is what I am talking about. And now...

The Watch. Seiko SBDC101.. what more can you say? Classic 62mas style with the 6R movement, sapphire, DiaShield? Come one. This watch is a knock out! Absolutely in love with this watch. The machine finishing is top notch, it wears perfectly, and it's a real stunner! The sunburst dark grey bezel is beautiful out in the sun. Many of my customers have commented on the watch so far.

Right now this watch is hot along with the new Willard. Unfortunately they hard to come by at the moment. Ippo had it in stock at a price which I was better than anyone who had one in stock.

Definitely recommend buying any watch from Ippo. The fact that I received this item from Japan to the USA faster than other items I'm still waiting from from the USA says it all.
