Due to frequent natural disasters like avalanches, ICE-SAR was established as a volunteer organization dedicated to saving lives. ICE-SAR is a skilled rescue team operating 24/7, also involved in safety education and various other fields. Since partnering with ICE-SAR, Luminox has developed timepieces specialized for exploration and rescue missions that operate in harsh environments, providing excellent visibility even in poor conditions like blizzards. The new ICE-SAR ARCTIC 1050 SERIES features a pulse meter designed to quickly measure heart rates without needing a 60-second wait, using a long second hand and indexes marked on the inner ring of the dial. The case and bezel are made from CARBONOX, which offers lightweight strength and specifications suitable for rescue missions, including shock resistance and 200m water resistance. For visibility in the dark, the LLT uses a combination of green and orange, providing high visibility on land, while Super-LumiNova is applied to the indexes and the '6' and '12' for enhanced visibility in darkness.
