If you like the classic simplicity of smooth lines, a perpetual calendar that you don't need to adjust, a handsome dial in Navy Blue towards Black which contrasts well with it's super hardened and polished glossy & matt finished Titanium bracelet and scratch resistant sapphire crystal, then this watch is for you! It's Titanium (Duratect) bracelet is 4 times lighter than stainless steel, but 5 times harder which makes this watch super light at 87g (3.1 ounces)! I weighed it myself! And regarding whether it can pick up the radio signal from Ft. Collins, CO, all the way to New York City, don't worry as it does! I set mine on the window sill one evening here in the Washington D.C. area and it easily picked up the radio signal. The date in the window is easy to read with my 72 year old eyes without raising it up from the table. And what is spectacular is that the second hand stops PRECISELY on the second markers! This bracelet clasp also has a 2 mm quick adjust mechanism. And to keep the clean appearance of the dial, the 24 Cities within the World Time Zone are reflected on the back of the case, which is a nice touch! I have several watches in the $2,000 range with "whistles and bells", but I love this simplistic classic. And, you will too.
This was the first watch I purchased through IPPO JAPAN WATCHES and what a pleasure it was to deal with them! They stand out from most of the other sellers in Japan for several reasons to include their advertised pricing being about the lowest out there. But when you add that they ship for free and accept direct credit card purchases, not restricting the buyer to exorbitant Paypal fees like most of the other sellers in Japan, they do have the best pricing anywhere.
