This watch is only sold in Japan, but I got one thanks to Ippo. I can verify that the SBXY087 does work in North America using the WWVB time signal! However, one thing to keep in mind is that this watch was intended for the Japanese domestic market only, and Japan does not observe daylight savings time, so anyone in North America or Europe who buys this watch will have to manually change the time zone twice a year. Other than that, it is a very nice low-maintenance watch. The sapphire crystal is so clear that I can barely see it, and the titanium case is very lightweight.

Do you know that feeling where you want something for a long time, finally get it and it's disappointing? That's not what this monster watch is. It is everything I wanted it to be and even better. This is the king of the Frog. Compared to my old AnaFrog (GWF-A1000) this watch is superior for my dollar in every respect. The weight is a comfortable heft, the size is perfect for my nearly 8 inch wrist, the standard G-Shock functions are improved by easy to use buttons and a large, clear positive display that's easy to read. It functions like every other G-shock, but in that handsome Frogman case, made in Japan with obvious competence and pride. The strap is long and comfortable despite its rugged carbon-fiber reinforced construction. I have no critiques or complaints about this watch, it's the perfect representation of everything I love about Japanese engineering and manufacturing. It's tough, practical, usable, and excellent at its intended and even perhaps some unintended purposes. 10/10 on this watch. If you understand what this is and suspect it will meet your expectations I surmise it will exceed them. It did for me.
